Here's some photos of our whitetail deer shooting lanes in Southern Louisiana. Whitetail deer hunting shooting lanes should be 100 to 300 yards deep. In other words, you should be able to see deer out to about 100 yards minimum; 200 yards optimum; 300 yards maximum. The photos are taken from our tree stand in a Water Oak next to a nice pond.
