Young Whitetail Buck's Velvet Antlers

The young whitetail buck's velvet antlers are still looking good. The picture on the left was taken by our game camera two (2) days after Hurricane Katrina passed through the area. The image on the right was taken by our deer camera three (3) days prior to Hurricane Rita passing through. The velvet should be coming off of these antlers very soon, as the rutt is nearly here! We are hoping for some photos of a very large whitetail trophy buck.
