Wild Coyote

coyote whitetailcam dateline: Friday, June 1, 2007 at 1:03 am

This wild coyote is out at night scavaging for food. The wild coyote will eat almost anything - meat or vegetables. The wild coyote's primary food source is small rodents - mice, rabbits and whitetail deer fawns. Coyotes hunt alone or in pairs and attack large mammals by attacking at the throat. Wild coyotes are fast, traveling up to 40 mph for short distances. Wild coyotes are often seen chasing whitetail deer.
